Below is a sampling of cases that were resolved in the Circuit Court of Pettis County Law Day on the 3rd day of April 2017.
Alice M. Shepherd: age 46, Sedalia, was sentenced to two 10 year sentences in the Missouri Department of Corrections after pleading guilty on 2 separate matters [1 count Trafficking in the first degree and 1 count Manufacturing of a Controlled Substance (methamphetamine)] and 2 years in the Missouri Department of Corrections for Possession of a Controlled Substance (methamphetamine).
Stacy Frank: age 29, Sedalia, was sentenced to 4 years in the Missouri Department of Corrections after her probation was revoked and she was ordered to serve the balance of a previously imposed suspended 5 year sentence.
Tonya Burcham: age 32, Sedalia, was sentenced to concurrent 4 year sentences in the Missouri Department of Corrections after pleading guilty on 2 separate matters (1 count Forgery and 1 count Resisting Arrest).
David J. Bennett: age 43, Sedalia, was sentenced to 4 years in the Missouri Department of Corrections for Resisting Arrest.
Bradley D. Kumberg: age 46, Edwards, was sentenced to concurrent 2 year sentences in the Missouri Department of Corrections on 2 separate matters (1 count Driving While Revoked and 1 count Resisting Arrest).
Jeffery W. Taylor: age 51, Sedalia, was sentenced to 15 years in the Missouri Department of Corrections under 559.115 for a Class B Felony of Manufacturinging a Controlled Substance (crack cocaine).
Stephen Curtner: age 39, Sedalia, was sentenced to 3 years in the Missouri Department of Corrections for Possession of a Controlled Substance (methamphetamine).
Tyler J. Evans: age 22, Sedalia, was sentenced to 2 years in the Missouri Department of Corrections after his probation was revoked.
Charity S. Card: age 21, Sedalia, was sentenced to 7 years in the Missouri Department of Corrections after her probation was revoked.
