The holiday season is set to sparkle as Love What’s Local Warrensburg invites the community to the 8th Annual Lighted Holiday Parade on Friday, Dec. 5 from 6 to 8 p.m. in downtown Warrensburg.

This beloved tradition transforms the streets of Warrensburg into a winter wonderland as local businesses, organizations, and community members decorate their vehicles, floats, and walking groups in glowing lights and festive décor.

The parade celebrates the spirit of the season and the strength of the local community. Families are encouraged to bring their letters to Santa and drop them in the special mailbox located on the Johnson County Courthouse lawn.

At the end of the parade, Santa Claus will make a special appearance to collect the letters and spread holiday cheer. Afterward, attendees can enjoy the lighting of the Courthouse Christmas tree and capture a festive photo with Santa. This is a perfect way to mark the beginning of the holiday season in Warrensburg.

Would you like to join the Parade? Community groups, schools, and local businesses are invited to participate and show off their holiday spirit. Decorate your float, light up your vehicle, and help make this year’s parade the brightest one yet. The application deadline is Nov. 28.
