Maintenance Work to Close Portion of S. Park Ave and W. Broadway

The City of Sedalia Water Division’s contractor is scheduled to complete work on the north side of the intersection of S. Park Ave and W. Broadway Blvd beginning Monday morning (July 1).

The City of Sedalia says the work will begin at 7:00 Monday morning and continue through Wednesday, July 3, at 5:00 p.m.

The work on water lines in the area requires placement of equipment that will block the roadway while new pipes are installed. The alley between W. 7th Street and W. Broadway Blvd on S. Park Ave will remain open for residents accessing parking via the alley.

The street is then scheduled to re-open to through traffic Wednesday evening at 5:00 p.m.

It was noted that work is dependent on weather.

Drivers are encouraged to avoid the area and use alternate routes.
