City of Sedalia Notes Road Closure at Fire Scene

South Washington Avenue between East Main Street and the mid-block alley to the south and Mill Street from East Main Street to East 2nd Street will be closed to through traffic until 5 p.m. on Tuesday, Mar. 16, to allow for clean-up of the area after the early morning fire at Martinez Auto Body shop on Tuesday morning.

Travelers near this area are encouraged to find alternate routes while the clean-up is completed as heavy equipment and workers will be in and near the roadways.

Detour signs and other traffic control devices will be present to assist drivers in the area to detour around the clean-up area.

City Officials apologized for any inconvenience these road closures may cause as work is completed in the area.  Completion of this clean-up is weather and equipment dependent and may be delayed due to rain or equipment breakdowns.
