A press release from the Pettis County Sheriff's Department says that on Friday afternoon (Jan 12), deputies made an arrest in connection to the January 9th shooting death of 21-year old Cassandra L. White that occurred on Oak Grove Lane.

An autopsy of White was conducted Thursday by the Boone County Medical Examiner.

The Pettis County Prosecuting Attorney filed multiple charges against the man late Friday night.

Following up on investigation, detectives traveled to Oregon County in far southeastern Missouri to recover evidence and 18-year old Noah A. Kelliker, of Marshall, MO.

Kelliker was already being held in the Oregon County Jail after apprehension Thursday morning by Oregon County authorities on an active Saline County warrant for violating his terms of probation in an assault case.

Late Friday night, the Pettis County Prosecutor filed a four-count indictment against Kelliker and a warrant was issued charging him with 2nd Degree Murder, two counts of Unlawful Use of a Weapon, and Armed Criminal Action.

Kelliker was taken to the Pettis County Jail just after 10:00 Friday night (Jan 12), where he remains pending his initial appearance in court on the charges next week. Kelliker has a bond of $250,000.

The investigation is continuing and KSIS will provide more details as they emerge.
