Mildred Ann Brackman, 100, of Sedalia, died Wednesday, April 16, 2014, at Fair View Nursing Home.

She was born February 13, 1914, in Concordia, MO, a daughter of the late Edward J. and Flora C. (Kirchoff) Brackman.

She moved to Sedalia in 1929 and graduated from Smith-Cotton in 1932. She was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church and was church organist for 55 years. She also held several offices in the church.

She was co-owner, later owner of Coffee Pot Café until her retirement.

Miss Brackman is survived by several cousins; and her caregivers, Ralph and Jeanette Viebrock.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Marvin Brackman.

Funeral services will be 11:00 am, Friday, April 18, 2014, at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church with Rev. Jeremy Freeman officiating. Visitation will be 10 am until service time. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.
