MoDOT Announces JoCo Work This Week
The Missouri Department of Transportation will be performing maintenance work in various locations in Johnson County from April 1-5.
All work is weather permitting.
Route AA between SW 50 Rd to W. Division Rd.: lane closure on Wednesday, April 3 through Friday, April 5, from approximately 7 a.m., until 4 p.m., daily, for drainage work.
Crews will be performing brush-cutting operations at various locations in Johnson County. This work will require various lane closures. These will not be complete closures.
Mon. April 1 on Route CC between NE 950 Rd. and NE 1100 Rd.
Wed., April 3 on Route E between NE 501 Rd. and Route CC
Thu., April 4 – Fri., April 5 on Route PP between SE 251 Rd and SE 321 Rd.
April 1, 3-5 on Missouri Highway 2 between SW 101 Rd. and SW 151 Rd.
Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. Work zones can be moving operations, such as striping, patching or mowing. They can also be short term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
