18-year-old Sedalia man arrested on multiple charges

At 1:50 Saturday morning Sedalia Police were dispatched to the 1800 block of South Sneed on a disturbance. Upon arrival officers located the suspect, 18-year-old Wayne Gravitt of Sedalia who had reportedly ran into the house and assaulted a female victim.
After officers arrested and handcuffed Gravitt he attempted to flee, and also attempted to injure an officer. Gravitt was taken to the Pettis county Jail where he was placed on 24-hour hold pending charges of domestic assault 2nd degree, burglary, escape under arrest, a felony, and assault on a law enforcement officer 3rd degree.

Bothwell Hospital Emergency Room reports an unruly patient Saturday morning.

Around 6:40 Saturday morning Sedalia Police investigated an unruly patient at the Bothwell Hospital Emergency Room. Upon arrival a doctor told officers the suspect identified as 22-year-old Jericho Reinke of Sedalia had thrown blood on them.
The police report also states Reinke made threats towards the police officer and hospital staff. Reinke was taken into custody, and while being transported to the Pettis County Jail he kicked a video camera in the back of the patrol car, and made racial slurs to the officer. At the time of the police report he was on 24-hour hold in the Pettis County Jail pending formal charges.

Sedalia man issued a summons for loud noise

At 8:14 Saturday night Sedalia Police investigated a disturbance, following a complaint from a neighbor that a man was running a 4-wheel drive vehicle through a mud hole in his back yard, making a loud noise. Following an investigation Jeremy Klein was issued a summons for loud noise.

A clutch was found near the Dollar Store and Mighty Melt on West Broadway around 10 pm Saturday night. The purse was turned in at the police station, and is waiting for its owner.
