Motorcyclist Killed in Clay County Crash

A Grandview man was killed after he lost control of his motorcycle and crashed in Clay County Monday morning.

The Missouri State Highway State Patrol reports that 62-year-old Dennis W. Wright of Grandview was westbound on a 2006 Harley Davidson on Missouri 210 at Randolph Road at 5:20 a.m., when the motorcycle traveled off the left side of the roadway and struck a curb. The motorcycle overturned and the driver was ejected.

He was transported to a North Kansas City Hospital by Claycomo Fire.

Wright was pronounced dead at North Kansas City Hospital at 2:58 p.m by Dr. Tosh.

Clay County deputies assisted the Patrol at the scene.
