Missouri’s National & State Wide Election Results
Residents in Missouri went to the polls on Tuesday, November 5, 2024, to elect various national and state officials. Republicans emerged victorious in many of Missouri's races statewide and received strong support from Pettis and Johnson County voters.
These election totals are unofficial results. Missouri election law requires local election authorities to transmit certified election results to the Secretary of State's Office no later than the second Tuesday after the election, November 19, 2024. The Missouri Secretary of State's Office will convene the board of state canvassers and issue a statement announcing official results no later than December 10, 2024.
President Donald J. Trump and JD Vance won Missouri's electoral votes. They received 1,739,020 votes and emerged victorious with 58% of the vote. Vice President Kamala D. Harris and Tim Waltz received 1,190,806 votes, just under 40%. Around 2% of Missouri voters chose third-party candidates or wrote in a choice.
In the United States Senate, incumbent Josh Hawley was re-elected for another term with 55% of the vote, compared to Democrat Lucas Kunce's 41%. In the House of Representatives, Republican Mark Alford won the fourth district seat.
In state-wide offices, Republican Mike Kehoe beat Democrat Crystal Quade to be the next Governor of Missouri with 59% of the vote, to Quade's 38%. Dave Wasinger beat Richard Brown for Lieutenant Governor. Republicans Denny Hoskins, Vivek Malek, and Andrew Bailey will serve as Missouri's next Secretary of State, State Treasurer, and Attorney General.
Republican Bradley Politt beat Democrat Rene Vance with 74% of the vote to continue as Missouri State Representative for District 52. Republican Brandon Phelps won for State Representative for District 54, beating Democrat Eric Stevens with 70% of the vote. And in District 57, Republican Rodger Reedy won re-election with 81% of the vote.
State Senator Rick Brattin was elected for District 31 with 68% of the Vote.
