Northwest High School Volleyball Team To Be Recognized by Pettis County Commission

On Wednesday, Nov. 22 at 9 a.m., the Pettis County Commission will present a proclamation to the 2023 Northwest High School Volleyball Team, who had an exceptional season (31-3-2) and finished 3rd place in the MSHSAA State
Tournament (Class 1).

The presentation will last approximately 30 minutes and take place in the third-floor courtroom of the courthouse. Members of the public are welcome to attend.

On Saturday, Nov 4 at the state tournament, the Northwest Varsity Girls Volleyball team (from Pettis County R-5 in Hughesville) won their match against Galena High School by a score of 3-0, according to Max Preps.

The Northwest Lady Mustangs are 8-1 in Class 1, District 14.
