Northwest/Sacred Heart football beat Braymer/Breckenridge, 64 – 20, Friday night on the road.

Leading offensive players included:

Jason Boss 43 yards and a touchdown along with a rushing PAT
Grant Goodwin 40 yards and a touchdown along with a rushing PAT
Tanner Danlo 25 yards and two touchdowns
Ian Smith 23 yards and a touchdown
Tanner Danlo was 5 of 5 passing for 81 yards and 3 touchdowns, he also added 2
rushing PATs
Nick Crosswhite had 3 catches for 38 yards and 2 touchdowns
Pierson Tichenor had 2 catches for 43 yards and a touchdown

Leading defensive players included:

Caden Crooker 17 tackles and an interception
Braden Allred 6 tackles and a blocked punt
Clay Crooker 4 tackles
Nick Crosswhite 3 tackles and a blocked punt
Grant Goodwin 3 tackles and returned a punt for a touchdown
Ian Smith, Devon Halsey, Issac Neiters, and Donavan Dobson 3 tackles each.

The eight-man Northwest/Sacred Heart team (1-0) next plays North Shelby (1-0) this Friday, Sept. 3 on the road. Their first home game is Sept. 10 against St. Paul/Concordia.
