Northwest/Sacred Heart football beat Knox County, 40-28, on Friday night at home.

Leading offensive players included:

Issac Nieters 98 yards on 11 carries
Ian Smith 20 yards on 4 carries
Jason Boss 13 yards on 4 carries
Tanner Damlo 10 yards and a touchdown on 6 carries
Issac Nieters passed for 142 yards and 4 touchdowns on 10 of 17 attempts with a passing 2 pt PAT
Tanner Damlo passed for 112 yards and a touchdown on 6 of 10 attempts
Pierson Tichenor had 7 catches for 183 yards and 4 touchdowns
Nick Crosswhite had 6 catches for 61 yards and a touchdown along with a PAT catch
Jason Boss had 2 catches for 5 yards
Grant Goodwin had 2 catches for 5 yards

Leading defensive players included:

Caden Crooker had 21 tackles and an interception
Braden Allred had 10 tackles
Pierson Tichenor had 9 tackles and 2 interceptions
Devon Halsey had 9 tackles
Grant Goodwin had 5 tackles
Nick Crosswhite had 5 tackles

With the win the Mustangs even their record at 2 and 2. They next play at Orrick on the 24th.
