Oliver "Ollie" Loyd Lackman, 75, of Lake Ozark passed away December 13, 2014 at Lakeside Meadows Nursing Home in Osage Beach, MO.  He was born on April 18, 1939 in Cole Camp, MO, the son of William Harry Lackman and Mildred Baldwin, who both preceded him in death.

On March 19, 1961 in Sedalia at Lamine Baptist Church, he was united in marriage to Joyce Cooper, who preceded him in death on December 23, 2002.  In La Monte, MO on May 6, 1989, he was united in marriage to Barbara Chaney, who survives of the home.

He was a member of The American Legion Post 520 of La Monte, MO. Ollie worked for Lamy's, Singer Sewing Co., Town & Country Shoe Factory and Adco, all of Sedalia.  He enjoyed working on sewing machines and lawn mowers.  Ollie loved watching Nascar and sprint car races.  He especially loved spending time with his family and cared for all of his family very well. Ollie served his country honorably in the US Army during Vietnam.

Besides his wife, he is survived by three children, Karen (Dana) Thorsen of Knob Noster, MO, Marvin (Janine) Lackman of Spring Lake, NC and Darius (Amy) Lackman of Lake Ozark, MO; one stepson, Dale (Kathy) Chaney of Warrensburg, MO and one stepdaughter, Laura Taylor of Sedalia; eight grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am, Wednesday, December 17, 2014 at Rea Funeral Chapel, Sedalia with Rev. Cory Casey officiating.

Family will receive friends one hour prior to service.

Burial will be at La Monte Cemetery.

Full military honors will be conducted at graveside.

Pallbearers will be Marvin, Darius and Aaron Lackman, Dale Chaney, Jamie Taylor and Bill Decker.

Honorary bearers will be Lynn Chaney, Charles Balch, Kevin Wedinkoffer and George Gratake.

Memorial contributions are suggested to Gideons International in care of Rea Funeral Chapel.
