Wrestling Olympian J'den Cox of Columbia continues to celebrate his victory now that he's made his way back home.

The Columbia Missourian reports that Cox appeared at a public celebration for him on Wednesday in the Columns Club at Memorial Stadium in Columbia.

Cox, a University of Missouri senior, won a bronze a bronze medal at the Rio Olympics earlier this summer. About 200 people gathered to hear about his Olympic experience and to get autographs.

People were also able to get a good look at the medal, which Cox says he's been carrying around in his pocket because he doesn't know where to keep it and he's afraid of losing it.

Columbia's first Olympic medalist says he's happy to be home, and wants to help his school's wrestling program.
