A tractor trailer carrying planks of wood overturned on I-70 at Highway 63 Saturday afternoon, spilling wood onto the interstate and closing the eastbound lanes of I-70 under a bridge at the Rangeline exit.

A crew of a dozen was on the scene clearing the wood pieces from the roadway. Traffic was diverted for about an hour, according to MoDOT. The accident occurred around 3 p.m. Traffic resumed moving slowly around 4:40 p.m., according to published reports.
