The Sedalia-Pettis County United Way, in partnership with C.A.C.T.U.S. (Community And Children Teaming Up For Success), is hosting a Papa Murphy's Pizza Night from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday, June 2. For every pizza purchased, 25 percent of the proceeds will be donated to the C.A.C.T.U.S. chapter in Pettis County to aid in the purchase of school supplies for area children.

"They are on track this year to support about 2,000 children in getting them the school supplies they need in order to start the school year," Staci Harrison, United Way Executive Director said. "That educational foundation is so important for our children and making sure that they are prepared for the first day of school is essential."

Additional information regarding the Papa Murphy's Pizza Night and upcoming events is available on the Sedalia-Pettis County United Way's Facebook Page.
