Peterson Named Bryan Jenkins State Farm Athlete of the Week

Smith-Cotton Lady Tigers track athlete Saige Peterson is this week’s Bryan Jenkins State Farm Athlete of the Week.

With her are Jenkins, left, and S-C track head coach Brad Hagedorn. Peterson, a junior, has been competing at high levels in the 800 meters, 200 meters, 4x400 relay and other events.

She also is active in Student Council, FBLA, Sedalia Leadership, Gateway to Change and is on the Principal's Honor Roll.

Each week, alternating between Smith-Cotton and Sacred Heart high schools, local State Farm agent Bryan Jenkins honors an outstanding local student-athlete.
