The second diagnosed case of Coronavirus infection was confirmed in a Pettis County resident and reported to the Pettis County Health Center today. The individual and family are currently at home and self-isolating. The Pettis County Health Center is working to identify who had direct contact with the person. Identified contacts will be placed in a 14-day self-quarantine, provided instructions on how to monitor their health and will be followed by Health Center staff twice a day to check on their health. Individuals with direct contact who develop symptoms will be referred for testing.

We understand this is a stressful time for all Pettis County residents.
