SO reports 6-28-19

Pettis County deputies responded to the area of Highway 50 and Marshall after the SPD received a call on Thursday around 11:18 p.m. about an intoxicated man possibly struck by a Union Pacific Freight Train. Investigation revealed that David Macias was not struck by a train, but rather he was throwing rocks at the train as it went by. “Charges may be pending upon successful contact with other victim entities involved,” a report stated. Macias was placed on a 12-hour custody hold.

Deputies took a domestic assault report that occurred in the 27000 block of Griessen Road on Thursday just after 4 p.m. A minor scrape was reported by the victim. Investigation continues, according to a report.
