On the afternoon of April 29th, the Mid Missouri Drug Task Force and a Pettis County K9 Unit received information regarding a male subject who had active warrants for his arrest. The male was possibly staying or visiting with someone at the Super 7 Motel, 5650 South Limit Avenue. Deputies located a white SUV, and inside the vehicle Deputies located Ezra Scott Cowan and Jasmine Walker. Pettis County Deputies arrested both subjects. Cowan had an active Failure to Appear warrant on original charges of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia with a cash only bond of $251.00. Walker had an active felony Probation Violation warrant on original charges of Possession of a Controlled Substance with bond set at $25,000 cash or surety. Cowan and Walker were also charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.


 

Early Tuesday morning, the Pettis County K9 Unit conducted a traffic stop in the area of West 32nd Street and US 65 Highway. During the stop, Lecia Parnell was arrested for felony Driving While Revoked.


 

Last Friday afternoon, Whitney Crowder of Otterville reported to Deputies that she was assaulted in the 1200 block of Elm Hills Boulevard in Sedalia. The investigation continues.


 

Pettis County Deputies responded to the 28000 block of Anderson School Road last Friday afternoon for a report of fraudulent use of a debit card.


 

On the evening of April 4th, Pettis County Sheriff's Reports. There are no known suspects at this time and the investigation is still ongoing.
