SO reports 9-7-18

Pettis County Sheriff's deputies arrested Barry Keele at the SO on an outstanding warrant on Thursday.


On Wednesday, Gary Lemens of Sedalia reported that both of his license plates were stolen from his 2000 Ford truck.


 

On Tuesday, Pettis County deputies recovered a stolen vehicle in the 24000 block of Highway 765. The vehicle was reported stolen to Sedalia Police in January. The vehicle was towed from the scene.


 

On Tuesday, deputies took a report on an assault on a corrections officer at the Pettis County Jail. Charges are being pursued.


 

On Monday, a deputy responded to the 400 block of North Prospect to take a report from a female who said that while driving on Griessen Road, her husband attempted to force her off the road with his vehicle, causing the two vehicles to crash into each other. The deputy was not able to make contact with the husband, but charges were submitted to the Pettis County Prosecutor for 2nd degree domestic assault.


 

On Sunday evening, Pettis County deputies arrested Maxwell E. Smith of Washington, Maine on an outstanding Pettis County warrant for stealing.
