Early Saturday morning, Deputies conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle at US 65 Highway and Elm Hills Boulevard for failure to use a turn signal. Subsequently, Crystal C. Cummins, 32, of Sedalia, was placed under arrest for Driving While Suspended (Third Offense). Cummins was transported to the Pettis County Jail to be placed on a 24-hour hold.


 

Deputies conducted a traffic stop Friday night in the area of West 16th Street and State Fair Boulevard. Erin Purchase, 41, of Sedalia, was placed under arrest for Driving While Intoxicated. Purchase was transported to the Pettis County Jail, where she was booked and released to a sober person pending charges.


 

Friday afternoon, Deputies arrested Bobby Sousley, 41, of Kansas City in the 300 block of South Lamine Avenue in Sedalia. Sousley was arrested in reference to a warrant for his arrest from Pettis County on charges of felony Property Damage in the 1st Degree.


 

Pettis County Deputies took a report of theft from Brooklyn McGinnis of Sedalia Friday morning. McGinnis reported that her 2024 license tags were stolen and used by a subject unknown to her.


 

Friday morning, Ashley Bardin of Sedalia reported to the Pettis County Sheriff's Office that someone had slashed one of her vehicle tires. The investigation continues.
