On Aug 25, Pettis County deputies took a report from Rory Melville, who reported the theft of a license plate from his 23019 Dodge truck. The plate was a personalized veteran's plate bearing C4R4.

On Monday evening, Aug. 24, Pettis County deputies conducted a traffic stop on a speeding vehicle on Highway 50 at La Monte.  Michael Torrres of the 900 block of E. 14th, was arrested on an FTA Pettis County warrant.


 

On Sunday, Aug. 23, Pettis County deputies took an assault report on South Grand, near the iron bridge. Cody Harvey was subsequently arrested for 4th degree assault. Charges were later dropped, and Harvey was released from the Pettis County Jail.


 

On Sunday, Aug, 23, Pettis County deputies took a theft report in the 4000 block of W. 32nd Street. Taken was a Joe Biden campaign sign.


 

On Sunday, Aug. 23, Pettis County deputies arrested Chelsey Johnson of Sedalia, on a Municipal warrant for original charges of no insurance and expired plates. Johnson was taken to the Pettis County Jail on a $120 cash bond.


 

On Saturday afternoon, Aug. 22, Pettis County deputies had an abandoned motor vehicle towed from Highway TT, near US 50. According to a report, the vehicle was disabled and abandoned in the roadway. Don's Truck Towing towed the vehicle.


 

On Friday, Aug. 21 at 2:15 a.m., Pettis County deputies conducted a traffic stop on a silver Mazda at US 50 & Highway MM. The driver, 31-year-old Joshua Bridges of Sedalia, was arrested on a $7,500 cash or surety Pettis County warrant. Bridges was transported to the Pettis County Jail.


 

On Friday, Aug. 21, Pettis County deputies took a report of fraudulent use of a credit device in the 31000 block of Sunrise Lane.
