Last Tuesday morning, Deputies were dispatched to the 2900 block of McVey Road in reference to an attempted home invasion. Deputies arrived on scene and made contact with the caller. The caller stated two subjects in masks, armed with firearms, came up to the garage door in his back yard and attempted to kick the door in. The victim stated he yelled at the two suspects as they were trying to break into the residence, which spooked them. They took off running northbound through has backyard, towards Southgate Loop. The investigation is ongoing.


 

Tuesday morning, Deputies stopped a male subject on a motorized bike in the area of West 16th Street and South Stewart Avenue in Pettis County. The male was identified as Andrew Thomas Trampke, 39, of Sedalia. A computer check of Trampke’s information was conducted and showed six active warrants for his arrest. Trampke was booked in at the Pettis County Jail on original charges of No Operator’s License, Failure to Register, two counts of Expired Plates, Operating a Motor Vehicle on the Highway Without a Valid License, and two counts of Operating a Motor Vehicle Without Maintaining Financial Responsibility. Bond on all six warrants totaled to $508.00 cash only.


 

Monday night, Deputies took a report of a stolen vehicle. The vehicle was stolen from the 31000 block of Whiteman Road in Mora. The vehicle was later returned, and the vehicle owner did not wish to pursue any charges.

Deputies were conducting a stationary radar check in the area of US 50 Highway and Carrol Road Monday night in La Monte. Deputies checked a motorcycle traveling westbound at 90 miles per hour in a posted 65 miles per hour speed zone. As the Deputy turned around in the crossover of the median, the suspect rapidly accelerated away from the Deputy. The Deputy continued to attempt the stop, and the vehicle was traveling in excess of 100 miles per hour. After about three miles of carelessly passing through traffic, the vehicle eventually came to a stop near East Prairie Grove Road in La Monte. The driver, Tristen Grant Wilson, 29, of Knob Noster, was placed under arrest. Wilson was transported to the Pettis County Jail where he was booked in on charges of Resisting Arrest by Fleeing (Creating a Substantial Risk), Driving While Revoked (2nd Offense), Careless and Imprudent Driving, and Speeding (26 MPH or More). Wilson was placed on a 24 hour hold at the Pettis County Jail.


 

Saturday night, Deputies conducted a traffic stop in the area of US 65 and Hall Road in Pettis County on a maroon Ford Taurus. The vehicle was stopped because it made several illegal lane violations. A K9 Officer alerted to the suspect’s vehicle, and a probable cause search was conducted. Deputies had prior information that the suspect had concealed something illegal in his shoes. When asked to remove his shoes, the suspect said, “No, I can’t.” After being placed in handcuffs, the suspect admitted, “You don’t have to do this, there’s something in my pocket.” A clear plastic baggie was seized, which tested positively for fentanyl*. Nathan P. Bone, 37, of Sedalia, was arrested on a charge of felony Trafficking Drugs in the 2nd Degree, felony Delivery of a Controlled Substance, and Failure to Drive on the Right Half of the Roadway. Bond was set at $25,000 cash or surety.


 

On Saturday morning, Deputies conducted a traffic stop in the area of Us 50 and Highway FF in La Monte. The vehicle was traveling at 105 miles per hour in a posted 65 mile per hour zone. The driver was identified as Sean Hall, no age or location given. Hall was arrested and transported to the Pettis County Jail, to be booked and released with a summons for Speeding.


 

On Sunday morning, Deputies were on patrol in the area near the Cenex Gas Station, 120 East 16th Street. While there, a male subject was arrested on an active Pettis County warrant for his arrest. One warrant, issued from Pettis County, was a Failure to Appear on an original charge of Trespassing in the 1st Degree. Dustin E. Galloway, 42, Homeless, was arrested and transported to the Pettis County Jail. After a formal arraignment in court, Galloway pled guilty Monday. While Galloway was serving his two-day sentence, another warrant was issued for his arrest on charges of felony Stealing (Motor Vehicle, Watercraft or Aircraft). Bond on the new charge was set at $5,000 cash or surety.


 

*The probable cause reports notes the statutory amount for trafficking fentanyl is 20 milligrams, and Bone had 11.2 grams on his person.
