Last Friday night, Pettis County Deputies were on patrol in the area of Highway Y and Hickory Lane in Pettis County. Deputies initiated a traffic stop on a blue colored Chevrolet passenger vehicle because it was exceeding the speed limit. Deputies made contact with the driver, identified as Arely Matacua, 26, of Sedalia, was identified. Matacua's information was passed through Dispatch, and it was advised she did not have a current operator's license. Matacua was arrested and released on scene with a citation for Operating a Motor Vehicle on the Highway Without A Valid License. Matacua was given a court date in April and released to a family member.
