Pettis County Sheriff’s Reports for March 17, 2021

This is a compilation of reports released by the Pettis County Sheriff's Office:

On March 9, Pettis County Deputies attempted to assist a motorist on US 50, west of Dresden Road, who appeared to have vehicle problems and the vehicle had its hazard lights flashing. The vehicle continued driving east on the shoulder of US 50, then turned south on Dresden Road. The vehicle then stopped just south of US 50, and the driver, later identified as Jeremy Futscher, took off on foot. Futscher was apprehended by deputies, then taken to the Pettis County Jail for two outstanding warrants and placed on a 24-hour hold, pending additional charges.

On Thursday, March 11 around 6 p.m., Richard Keim assaulted a correctional officer at the Pettis County Jail. Keim is awaiting further charges of 3rd degree assault of a special victim.

On March 13, Pettis County Deputies towed an abandoned vehicle in the 4800 block of South Limit.
