Pettis County Sheriff's Reports for March 17, 2023

Wednesday morning, Deputies were dispatched to the 3000 block of Brooking Park Road for a report of an assault. The assault had taken place between two residents. One of the residents was transported to the Bothwell Regional Health Center for his injuries. Investigation into the matter continues.

Deputies with the Pettis County Sheriff's Officer were dispatched to the 22000 block of Depot Road Thursday morning. This area is also known as Pettis County R-XII School District. Deputies arrived on scene to investigate a child abuse report. The investigation continues.

Wednesday afternoon, Deputies arrested Keith Allen Lybarger, 37, of Sedalia, in the 6500 block of West 32nd Street. Lybarger had a felony Probation Violation warrant out of Saline County on original charges of Unlawful Possession Of A Firearm. Bond was set at $15,000 cash for Lybarger.

Deputies took a crash report Wednesday morning on Highway B near Bond Road in Green Ridge. The vehicle hit a deer, and the occupants were uninjured.
