Thursday night, Deputies responded to the 1100 block of McVey Road in reference to a domestic disturbance in progress. After an investigation, Jennifer Rose Highland, 49, of the address, was placed under arrest for Domestic Assault in the 3rd Degree. Highland was transported to the Bothwell Regional Health Center before being transported to the Pettis County Jail.


 

Pettis County Deputies responded to the 1300 block of East Boonville Road Wednesday night in reference to a warrant service. Deputies made contact with Michael A. Dumas, 33, of Sedalia. Dumas was confirmed to have an active warrant for his arrest. Dumas was transported to the Pettis County Jail to be booked in on his Failure to Appear warrant out of Moniteau County on original charges of Driving While Revoked. Dumas was held with a $500 cash only bond.


 

On the morning of March 29th, Deputies took a report of burglary and possible abuse in the 24000 block of Shannon Road in Pettis County. The investigation continues.

The Pettis County K9 Unit conducted a traffic stop in the area of Garrison Street and La Monte Road, in La Monte Tuesday night. During the stop, the driver was found to be intoxicated. Jose M. Lopez-Corona, 39, of La Monte, was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated.


 

Tuesday evening, Deputies and the K9 Unit were on patrol on the city limits of Green Ridge. Deputies conducted a traffic stop in the area of B Highway and Meyer Road. During the traffic stop, the driver was identified as Joseph Gabriel Hagston, 45, of Lincoln. During the stop, Hagston was found to be in Possession of a Controlled Substance and Drug Paraphernalia. Hagston was released with the scene with charges pending. Hagston also has criminal summonses pending from Benton County on charges of Failure to Register a Motor Vehicle and Operating a Motor Vehicle Without Maintaining Financial Responsibility.


 

Late Tuesday night, Deputies conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle near the intersection of South Ohio Avenue and West 19th Street in Sedalia. A passenger of the vehicle fled on foot. The passenger was pursued, and arrested without incident. James D. Baker, 49, of Sedalia was arrested on a charge of Resisting Arrest. Baker also had several warrants for his arrest on charges of Possession of a Controlled Substance, Operating a Motor Vehicle With out a License, and three counts of felony Burglary in the 1st Degree. Baker was transported to the Pettis County Jail to be placed on a 24 hour hold, pending a total bond of $24,000 cash or surety.
