Pettis County Sheriff’s Reports for May 1, 2020

This is a compilation of reports from the Pettis County Sheriff''s Office:

On Thursday, Pettis County deputies arrested Russell M. Bain in the 30000 block of Highway U on a failure to appear warrant of of Pettis County. His bond was set at $177.50.

On Tuesday at 12:52 a.m., Pettis County deputies responded to the 1500 block of Hunter's Circle in reference to a vehicle break-in. An investigation by deputies, along with the Missouri State Highway Patrol, yielded items that were stolen from the vehicle. They also located other possible stolen items and made contact with the owners to verify. Deputies located the suspects and are working with the Pettis County Juvenile Office to submit charges.

On Tuesday, Stanely Dillon of Ionia reported to the Pettis County Sheriff's Office that someone used his credit card to purchase items in other states. An investigation is under way.

On Monday, Patty Wagenknecht reported that someone stolen a solar panel, a battery and a 12-foot gate from her property in Smithton.
