Wednesday morning, Officers conducted a traffic stop in the 2400 block of South Limit Avenue because the vehicle had expired registration. The passenger of the vehicle was found to have several warrants for his arrest, two of which were extraditable. Jacob E. Jordan, 31, of Lincoln, was placed under arrest for his Failure to Appear warrant from Clay County on original charges of Driving While Revoked, and a Platte County Failure to Appear warrant on original charges of felony Possession of a Controlled Substance. Jordan was transported to the Pettis County Jail to be booked in pending a $200 cash or surety bond on the Clay County warrant, and a $5,000 cash or surety bond on the Platte County warrant.

Deputies were dispatched to a report of a physical disturbance Tuesday evening in the 3600 block of Stillbrook Drive. Upon arrival, the fight was no longer in progress. Neither party was willing to cooperate with any charges, and both were giving conflicting stories. A 12-hour domestic log was put into place.


 

Pettis County Deputies conducted a traffic stop in the area of Highway 127 and Highway Y Wednesday morning. The vehicle was travelling at 105 MPH in a 55 MPH posted speed zone. The driver, Marlon J. Beltran, 24, of Green Ridge, was placed under arrest. Beltran was transported to the Pettis County Jail to be booked and released on a charge of Speeding (26 MPH or More).
