Pettis County Sheriff’s Reports For October 4, 2021

Saturday evening, Deputies were dispatched to the 1500 block of North Ohio Avenue in reference to a dog bite. The victim was treated by the Pettis County Ambulance District at the scene and released. The owner will quarantine the dog for ten days at the call address. No charges are being sought.

Deputies conducted a vehicle stop on a red pickup truck Saturday afternoon on Highway E. Kalmon Roth was identified driving the pickup, and was confirmed to have an active no bond Failure To Appear warrant for his arrest on original charges of Possession of a Controlled Substance, so a vehicle stop was conducted. Missouri Highway Patrol assisted Deputies during the stop. A female riding passenger was identified as Leah Weaver. Weaver was also confirmed to have an active Failure to Appear warrant on original charges of Possession of Marijuana and felony Possession of a Controlled Substance with a bond of $25,000 cash or surety. Missouri Highway Patrol transported Weaver to the Pettis County Jail and turned her over to booking staff. Deputies transported Roth to the Pettis County Jail for his no bond warrant out of Benton County.

On the afternoon of October 1st, Pettis County Deputies were dispatched to the area north of Eckles Road and Highway T in Sedalia for an abandoned vehicle. The vehicle was located and towed.
