Pettis County Deputies conducted a warrant check at a gas station at 3050 South Limit Avenue on the evening of September 23rd. Billie L. Guymon, 29, of Sedalia, was arrested for an active warrant out of Pettis County*. Bond was set at $12,500 cash or surety.


 

Monday evening, Deputies were dispatched to the 4200 block of West Main Street to investigate a report of a disturbance. Deputies arrived and made contact with the male and female that were involved in the altercation. After the investigation by Deputies, it was determined a report would be filed and neither party would be arrested or charged at the time of the call.


 

Deputies responded to the Pettis County Sheriff’s Office on the afternoon of September 24th. A report of a fraudulent use of a debit card was reported from the 24000 block of Mahin Road in La Monte.

Tuesday morning, Deputies conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle near the intersection of East Broadway Boulevard and South Lamine Avenue in Sedalia. The driver, Miles Germaine Minor, 30, of Knob Noster, was arrested for Driving While Suspended (2nd or 3rd Offense). Minor was transported to the Pettis County Jail to be booked and released.


 

Early in the morning on September 22nd, Deputies observed a silver Chevrolet Malibu driving erratically on East 10th Street coming from South Ingram Avenue. The car was almost colliding into several other vehicles. The vehicle turned off of 10th Street onto South Grand Avenue and accelerated at a high rate of speed going south. The Deputy activated emergency lights and sirens on his patrol car to conduct a traffic stop on the vehicle when the Malibu continued to flee. The vehicle ran the stop sign at West 16th Street and South Grand Avenue and blacked out the vehicle’s lights to evade and flee from law enforcement. The Deputy observed the vehicle make a northbound turn onto Prospect Avenue from 16th Street. As the Deputy turned onto Prospect, the vehicle was stopped in the roadway. Deputies placed the driver under arrest. Xavier J. Zuniga, 30, of Sedalia, was booked in at the Pettis County Jail on charges of Driving While Revoked, Resisting Arrest, and Driving While Intoxicated (Prior Offender). Zuniga was placed on a 24-hour hold, pending charges.


 

*Information on this warrant was not available in Casenet. A warrant was recalled/withdrawn in August of 2024 for Guymon on felony charges of Burglary in the 2nd Degree.
