Thursday night, Pettis County Deputies were running stationary radar on US 50 Highway near La Monte. The Deputy checked a vehicle with his vehicle-mounted radar, which clocked the driver traveling at 116 MPH hour, fifty miles over the posted limit of 65 MPH. The subject was stopped, and subsequently placed under arrest. Rodrigo Barbosa Da Silva was transported to the Pettis County Jail, where he was booked and released on a charge of Speeding (26+ MPH). Da Silva’s age was not listed in the report.
