Pilot Grove Man Arrested on Warrants Totaling $9,500

On Friday just after 5:30 p.m. Sedalia Police arrested Aaron Wayne Moore, 26, Pilot Grove, after a traffic stop at 7th and Moniteau after an officer observed Moore leave the roadway and drive on the sidewalk to pull into a private drive, rather than use the nearby traffic entrance.

A computer check revealed that Moore was wanted on two Cooper County warrants ($2,000 and $2,500) and also on a $5,000 Pettis County warrant.

Moore was taken to the Pettis County Jail on a 24-hour hold pending the filing of state charges.

The report also noted that the officer’s body cam activated during the incident.
