The onslaught of rain and chilly temperatures - with more of both in the forecast - has forced cancellation of Saturday night's scheduled Big Adventure RV Weekly Racing Series program at Lucas Oil Speedway.

"We've been fortunate with a tremendous run of cooperation from Mother Nature, but this time there's no way beating her," Lucas Oil Speedway General Manager Dan Robinson said, noting the speedway's spotless record for rainouts in 2016, the lone exception night one of the Lucas Oil Pro Pulling Nationals in September.

"We look forward to welcoming the fans, drivers and crew members back out next Saturday, April 29, as we resume with action in all four divisions," Robinson said. "We're pleased to offer a special discount for all fans so we'll hopefully see everyone then."

That will be KOLR 10 and Z27 Presenting the Big Adventure RV Weekly Racing Series with special $5 ticket prices for all adults, seniors and kids. Ages 5-and-under are still admitted FREE.

The program will see the Warsaw Auto Marine & RV ULMA Late Models, the Pitts Homes USRA Modifieds, the Big O Tires Street Stocks and the Ozark Golf Cars USRA B-Mods in action. The Street Stocks will be running a special 25 Lap, $500 to win feature.

Gates will open at 5 p.m. next Saturday with hot laps at 7 and racing at 7:35. Some suites remain available along with grandstand seating. Contact admissions direction Nichole McMillan at (417) 282-5984 or email Nichole@lucasspeedway.com for more information.
