ert Eugene “Bob” Hayworth, 74, of Sedalia, passed away Monday, August 31, 2015, at Boone Hospital Center.

He was born February 20, 1941 in Sedalia, son of William Orville and Alice Lorraine Phillips Hayworth.

On February 14, 1963, in Sedalia, Bob was united in marriage to Florence F. Lindsay, who survives of home.
Bob worked for Sedalia Cold Storage as an engineer.

He enjoyed playing guitar, singing, playing cards, and attending small animal auctions. Bob was an outdoorsman. He enjoyed showing blue tick coon hounds and was a lifetime member of Blue Tick Breeders of America, president of the Saline County Coonhunters Association and a member of the State Fair and Central Missouri Coonhunters Associations.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by four children: Robert “Doug” Hayworth, of the home, Mike Hayworth, of Sedalia, Lisa Hayworth, of Otterville, and Jim Hayworth, of Sedalia; four grandchildren: Robert Schlobohm, Gina Schlobohm, Wendy Hayworth and James Q. Clark; a sister, Helen “Sissy” Gray; and two half sisters, Debbie Blankenship and Dana Hayworth.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers: Billy, Eddie and Larry; and a sister, Mildred.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Thursday, September 3, at Heckart Funeral Home, with a service to follow at 7:00 p.m.

Burial will be at a later date in Crown Hill Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the family.
