Sacred Heart extended its winning streak to four games with a win against Stover Thursday night 11-0 after ending the game in five innings on the mercy rule.

Three Sacred Heart pitchers combined for the shut out. Sacred Heart Gremlins Varsity secured the victory thanks to seven runs in the third inning.  Dallin Chappell, Chase Marshall, Alex Karigan, and Nolan Walker each had RBIs in the big inning capped off by a grand slam homerun for Walker.

Schlotterbeck was on the mound for Sacred Heart Gremlins Varsity. He went three innings, allowing zero runs on one hit, striking out four and walking one. Chase Marshall and Dallin Chappell each threw a scoreless inning of relief in the fourth and fifth.

Charlie Black started the game for Stover. He allowed five hits and nine runs over three innings, striking out two. Shawn Schoolfield threw one inning in relief out of the bullpen.

The Gremlins tallied nine hits on the day.  Zaine Dover and Chappell each racked up two hits a piece for Sacred Heart.

Sacred Heart travels to Sweet Springs Tuesday to play Malta Bend-Sweet Springs.
