Word was announced this morning that Sacred Heart was one of 22 nationwide Grant winners of the State Farm Celebrate My Drive program.

Sacred Heart receives a $100K grant from State Farm Insurance for getting the necessary internet votes to help push them into the top 22 schools in the country.

The Celebrate My Drive Program geared a program towards students called Drive 2N2.  It's a simple habit – 2 eyes on the road and 2 hands on the wheel. This can help reduce distracted driving and help new drivers build confidence on the road at the same time. Car crashes are the #1 killer of teens. And the first year of driving is the most dangerous. So Drive 2N2 was created in an effort to combat this epidemic and raise awareness around the importance of teen driver safety.

Congratulations to Asa Wilts and Charlie Wendt, along with the other students and teachers involved in this program sponsored by State Farm Insurance.
