The Sacred Heart Junior High soccer team played against Christian Fellowship on Friday night.

The game ended in a tie of 1-1.

“Despite the talent and skill brought to the field by Christian Fellowship, the Sacred Heart Gremlins never quit. Shoutout to one of our captains for scoring on a free kick outside of the 18-yard box. And another a shoutout to the JH goalie for stopping a PK in the box. Both of these moments were momentum builders for the entire team and also showed immense talent at the Junior high level.

“This team is full of smiles, laughter, and talent and it is a joy to watch them continue to grow together throughout the season,” commented coach Elyse Starke.

The next game for the Junior High Gremlins is Thursday, Oct. 1 at home against La Monte at Clover Dell.
