Sacred Heart suffered a heart breaking loss to Lone Jack at home on Thursday night at Cloverdell Soccer Complex.

SH converted two penalty kicks (Lucas Martin and Ian Viscarra) to tie the game at 2-2.

With four minutes left in the game, junior Ian Viscarra scored a free kick from 20 yards out to give the gremlins the lead. Lone Jack then scored the equalizer with 45 seconds left to send the game to overtime.

After two scoreless overtimes, Lone Jack’s sixth shooter scored down the middle and SH failed to convert their penalty for a 4-3 loss.

Sacred Heart travels to Father Tolton for a game on Wednesday.
