Sacred Heart Track & Field Compete at Russellville

The Sacred Heart track and field team participated in the Russellville Invitational Saturday, April 2.

Senior Bruno Saucedo placed 1st in the 200m dash in 23.73 seconds.  He placed 3rd in the 100m dash in 11.46 seconds and teamed up with junior Osvaldo Garcia, sophomores Reuben Smith and Jackson Manning to place 3rd in the 4x400 m relay in 4:00.17.

Other top performances include:

Sophomore Jackson Manning - 6th in the 1600m run 5:17.57
Junior Kate Carney - 5th in shot put with a throw of 9.25 meters

Boys 4 x 800 meter relay - 4th place in 10:39.77 (freshman Diego DeLeon, sophomores Reuben Smith, Jackson Manning, junior Osvaldo Garcia)

Girls 4x100 m relay -  5th place 59.26
Girls 4x200 m relay  - 4th place 2:05.48

Team for both relays:  freshman Sophia Carney, sophomore Shea Smith, junior Mariana Restrepo, senior Allie Finney
