Sacred Heart/Otterville (SHO) improved their record to 8-1 with a 39-30 victory over Sweet Springs in the WK Shootout at SFCC in Sedalia on Saturday.

Katie McKinney had 15 points, Aubrey Oehrke had 10 points (5 blocks, and 14 rebounds), Kate Carney had 6 points while playing excellent defense on Sweet Springs strongest offensive player, Mariana Restrepo had 5 points and 9 rebounds, Jenna Halter had 3 points.

It was a solid defensive effort by these five and Emily Hesse, Daniella Chinchilla and Mary Butner.

Samantha Butts led the Greyhounds with 13 points.

The Gremlins/Eagles' next game will be tonight at Leeton.
