Warrensburg Thrift Store to Close January 31 or Sooner
The Salvation Army Midland Division out of St. Louis announced the closing of The Salvation Army Thrift Store in Warrensburg at the end of the month.
According to a press release, the store's last scheduled day of business is January 31, 2024. The Salvation Army says the store at 125 N. Holden Street may close before that date if all items and goods are sold earlier.
The store will be closed this Friday, January 5, and this Saturday, January 6 to prepare for the store's liquidation sale which will begin Monday, January 8 at 10:00 AM CST. The sale includes a 50% discount on all items available for purchase in the store. Hours will be 10:00 AM - 5:00 PM CST each day based on staffing availability.
While The Salvation Army is closing the store, the services they provide in the Warrensburg area including utility and emergency food assistance will continue, and be administered through their current office location, 123 N. Holden, through February 14.
Their office will then move to a new location in the area.
