Just before 8:00 Monday night (July 3), Sedalia Police were dispatched to the 1900 block of South Quincy Avenue for a reported physical disturbance between a father and son. Upon arrival, officers spoke to the father, who had allegedly been assaulted and threatened by his son, identified as 33-year old Nathan Shane Snyder. According to the report, Snyder had left the scene prior to officers arrival. He was eventually located in the LaMonte area during the early morning hours of July 4th, by Pettis County Sheriff's deputies. Snyder was arrested and placed on a twenty-four hold in the Pettis County Jail, for 4th Degree Domestic Assault.


Around 6:00 Monday evening (July 3), Sedalia Police were dispatched to the 1300 block of South Ohio Avenue for a disturbance. According to the report, the caller heard a verbal argument between the subjects. Police made contact with the subjects and discovered that one of them had a Cooper County warrant. The suspect, 60-year old  Richard Lorence Hensley Jr, was arrested and taken to the Pettis County Jail, with a $1,000 bond on the warrant.
