A 39-year-old Sedalia man has been arrested an charges including second degree sexual abuse and fourth degree assault. Sedalia Police were called to a hotel in the 3400 block of Broadway on June 13. According to a police report, two men were located in the parking lot engaged in what appeared to be a struggle. Officers learned that one of the men, Terrell L. Peck, had been asked to leave the business, but refused. Peck is accused of assaulting two people, and subjecting another to unwanted sexual contact. Peck was taken to the Pettis County Jail and placed on a 24-hour hold, pending state charges.


Police took a complaint of forgery around 6:30 p.m. on June 13 from Fav Trip on W. Broadway. Officers were told that on Sunday night a suspect made a purchase with a counterfeit $20 bill. Police say the suspect has not been located at this time.


Pettis County Deputies took a report of theft from the 100 block of Villa Drive on June 14. A wallet was reported stolen from a parked vehicle sometime overnight.
