Sedalia Police conducted a traffic stop around 3:15 a.m. on July 4 and say one of the occupants of the vehicle was discovered to be in possession of methamphetamine, a stolen firearm, drug paraphernalia, and other controlled substances. 28-year-old Aaron Alexander Kempf of Sedalia was taken into custody.


A 68-year-old Sedalia man who police say threatened another person with a knife was arrested on a variety of charges on July 3. According to Sedalia Police, officers were dispatched to an address in the 800 block of E. 15th St. around 10:22 p.m. and discovered Howard D. Estes to be in possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia, and say that he had made the threat during a fight. Estes was arrested and transported to the Pettis County Jail.


Police say marijuana, digital scales and a glass pipe were found during a July 3 traffic stop just before 10 p.m. near the intersection of W. Saline and N. Mill. 19-year-old Blake Austin Hollon, of Marshall, was arrested and placed on a 24-hour hold at the Pettis County Jail for distribution of marijuana, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.


A 34-year-old Sedalia man was arrested around 1:40 a.m. on June 29 after officers were dispatched on a subject check to E. 11th St. and Ingram. Police say Chad Jeffery Wolfe was in violation of an order of protection and was arrested. A search of Wolfe reportedly led to the discovery of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. Wolfe was transported to the Pettis County Jail.
