Sedalia Area Crime Reports for May 22, 2018
On Monday (May 21), Pettis County Sheriff's deputies arrested William Mulcrone in the 1300 block of E. Boonville on a Pettis County warrant for Failing to Register as a Sex Offender. Mulcrone was taken to the Pettis County Jail, with no bond.
On Monday (May 21), Sedalia Police took a report of property damage that occurred at the Sedalia Regional Airport. The complainant stated that someone tried to break in to the terminal at the airport over the weekend. The damage was placed at approximately $200.00. There are no suspects at this time.
On Monday (May 21), Sedalia Police responded to the 1700 block of W. Main Street for a disturbance. Officers reportedly observed the suspect, 33-year old Christopher Scott Nevels, throw a rock at the front door of a building, causing damage. Nevels was arrested and placed on a twenty-four hold at the Pettis County Jail.
On Monday (May 21), Pettis County deputies took a report of stealing in the 5100 block of S. Limit Ave. The reporting party explained that money was stolen from their office sometime on Sunday. According to the report, the amount of money taken has not yet been determined. The investigation is ongoing.
