Just before 11:00 Friday night (July 7), Sedalia Police were dispatched to the 800 block of South Limit Ave, for a reported physical disturbance involving weapons. Upon arrival, officers observed several people fleeing the area. The report indicates that three victims claimed to have been assaulted with a baseball bat. According to the report, two of the victims had serious injuries involving head trauma and one victim had injuries to his left arm. PCAD arrived on scene and the victims were taken to Bothwell Regional Health Center for treatment. There was no information about a possible suspect or arrest, in the report.


Around 10:30 Friday night (July 7), Sedalia Police conducted a traffic stop in the area of S. Osage Ave and W. 14th St., for a vehicle failing to signal a turn. According to the report, the driver had an active FTA warrant from Benton County. Police arrested the driver, 29-year old Kevin Henry Lee, and took him to the Pettis County Jail. Lee had a bond of $100.


On Saturday (July 8), Sedalia Police conducted a warrant check at Katy Park. The report says the suspect had 3 Pettis County warrants and one municipal warrant from Sedalia. The suspect, 21-year old Robert Joseph Sanchez, was arrested and taken to the Pettis County Jail, with a bond of $20,000 for the warrants.


On Sunday (July 9), Sedalia Police took a theft report in the 400 block of W. 3rd St. The complainant stated that someone stole both license plates from his rental vehicle, which is owned by EAN Holdings, LLC. There are no suspects at this time.


On Sunday (July 9), Pettis County Sheriff's deputies arrested Nicholas Ryan Deppe, of Holt Summit, in the area of Worth Road and M Highway, for several infractions. According to the report, deputies are requesting charges of Possession with the Intent to Distribute Marijuana, 2nd Degree Assault on Law Enforcement Officers, Possession of More than 35 Grams of Marijuana, and Resisting Arrest.
