The money will purchase HiSET vouchers to pay for students’ High School Equivalency (HSE) exam fees.

The council’s mission is to participate in programs that increase the literacy rate, promote reading and link business, education and the community. AEL offers free classes to help out-of-school youth and adults prepare for the HSE exam.
